Teacup in Gold
This teacup design is from my own collection, a Paragon China Co. teacup and saucer from the 1950s or 1960s. My mother, aunt, and Nana all had large collections of mismatched teacups, and the tradition continued with Nana giving me my first teacups when I was a little girl. I have continued to collect them, and I looked through my entire collection to find the perfect shape to make these paper teacups and saucers.
The teacup is 4 inches wide, stitched by hand on 5x7 inch 100% cotton watercoloour paper, which means that they will pop right into any commercial frame in that size, and be ready to hang on your wall.
Materials: Japanese paper and cotton floss on cotton paper.
