Rabbit in Pink & Blue Hydrangeas

Based on an 1857 illustration of the ‘Lepus trowbridgii’, or Brush Rabbit, from Baird’s ‘Mammals of North America: The description of species based chiefly on the collections in the museum of the Smithsonian Institution’.

The rabbit is 4.75 inches wide, stitched by hand on 5x7 inch 100% cotton watercolour paper, which means that it will pop right into any commercial frame in that size, and be ready to hang on your wall.

Materials: Japanese paper, glass bead, and cotton floss on cotton paper.
