Pinup #032: Pinup dress in blue bamboo and flowers with crinoline

This darling little dress is made from Japanese chiyogami paper patterned in green bamboo and pink and white flowers on a blue background; it is hand-stitched in cotton floss onto cold-pressed 100% cotton paper. The sleeveless, belted wrap dress features a wide, notched collar and a full skirt. Hand embroidered lines imitate the folds of the skirt, and a crinoline made from Japanese tissue peeks out from underneath. 

The dress is six inches tall, hand-stitched by hand on 8x10 inch paper, which means that it will pop right into any commercial frame in that size, and be ready to hang on your wall.
