These four-button shoes are from an Edwardian design. Available in a variety of colours and papers, they feature sequins and glass beads. Perfect for fans of Downton Abbey. Or shoes. Or Downton Abbey shoes.
The original shoe, from ca. 1916, was manufactured by A.E. Little & Co. of Massachusetts and is held by the Metropolitan Museum of Art (accession 2009.300.1423).
The shoe is 3.75 inches wide, stitched by hand on 5x7 inch 100% cotton watercolour paper, which means that it will pop right into any commercial frame in that size, and be ready to hang on your wall.
Materials: Japanese paper, sequins, glass beads, and cotton floss on cotton paper.
