This elegant woman's shoe is based on a design from the 1760s; the originals were of painted kid leather. Mine features a buckle in metallic paper, embellished with tiny acrylic rhinestones, each one carefully stitched on by hand. The original shoe is held by the Victoria & Albert Museum (accession 270&A-1891).
The shoe is 3.75 inches wide, stitched by hand on 5x7 inch 100% cotton watercolour paper, which means that it will pop right into any commercial frame in that size, and be ready to hang on your wall.
Materials: Korean paper, acrylic rhinestones, and cotton floss on cotton paper.
