Dress #105: Regency dress in pink

This hand-stitched paper dress is based on Museum of Fine Arts, Boston accession 64-676a-f, an American dress from the early 19^th century. The original is made of red-violet silk satin, with pinkish-brown piping along the neckline, armscyes, and bow.

The dress is six inches tall, stitched by hand on 8x10 inch 100% cotton watercolour paper, which means that it will pop right into any commercial frame in that size, and be ready to hang on your wall.
