Dress #003: Victorian dress in brown and turquoise. 2014

Based on a dress from Dresses and Bonnets and Ribbons. New York: Lord & Taylor, 1870.

The dress is six inches tall, stitched by hand on 8x10 inch watercolour paper, which means that it will pop right into any commercial frame in that size, and be ready to hang on your wall.

Materials: Chiyogami, Japanese tissue, and cotton floss on cotton paper
